Can I book on the website without a quote?
The form on this page sends a request with the lane and the cargo. It is not a booking until you have accepted a written rate. We do not invent a sailing from an incomplete form.

Book a shipment
We book capacity after you accept a quote. The confirmation is the instruction we work from.
Accept the quote in writing before it expires. Tell us if anything changed: the weight, the date, the address, or the commodity. We confirm the carrier or the vessel plan, the cutoff, and the tracking number. That confirmation is the booking. A quote alone is not. Cargo that arrives unlike the booking may need a new rate. The first tracking milestone is Booked. Pickup is added when it happens.
The booking confirmation names the cutoff, the equipment, and the charges. Transit times and sample rates on this site are explanations, not that confirmation. Operations records a milestone only after the cargo or the document has actually moved.
What to send for a written rate
- City or port of origin, and city or port of destination
- Mode: ocean, air, or truck, if you already know it
- Pieces, weight, and dimensions
- What the goods are, in plain language
- The date the freight is ready
- Hazardous, oversized, or temperature-controlled, if any of those apply
A quote is not a booking. The booking starts when you accept the rate, the cutoff, and the document list in writing.
Accepting the quote
Reply to the quote or confirm it through operations. A phone call should be followed by a written note so the piece count and the address are on file.
Cutoffs
Ocean bookings have a document cutoff and a cargo cutoff. The documents are due first. Air bookings have a warehouse cutoff before the flight. A truck booking has a pickup window. Missing one of them moves the shipment even when the cargo is otherwise ready.
The confirmation also names who pays detention, demurrage, or storage after free time. Free time starts when the terminal or the carrier starts it, not when an email is opened.
Changes
A new receiver, a new piece count, or a cancelled pickup must be sent to operations before the cutoff. We confirm whether the change is still possible.
