Invoices

Invoice currency

The quote states the currency. We do not trade currencies for the public.

Invoice currency

International freight is often quoted in US dollars or in the currency of the costs we pay. The quote names that currency. If a conversion is required, the quote says who converts and which rate applies. This website does not publish a tradable exchange rate and it is not a bank.

The booking confirmation names the cutoff, the equipment, and the charges. Transit times and sample rates on this site are explanations, not that confirmation. Operations records a milestone only after the cargo or the document has actually moved.

What to send for a written rate

  • City or port of origin, and city or port of destination
  • Mode: ocean, air, or truck, if you already know it
  • Pieces, weight, and dimensions
  • What the goods are, in plain language
  • The date the freight is ready
  • Hazardous, oversized, or temperature-controlled, if any of those apply

A quote is not a booking. The booking starts when you accept the rate, the cutoff, and the document list in writing.

On the quote

Look for the currency code next to the rate. Accessorials that are passed through keep the currency of the underlying invoice unless we have converted them and shown the conversion.

What this page is not

It is not a currency chart, a wire desk, or a place to hold a balance. Old pages that talked about exchange rates were left over from a different product and are withdrawn. Freight questions belong with operations.

Example pairs, not a live market

Examples written on 17 October 2026 so a reader can see the shape of a pair. They are not a live market and they are not the rate on a booking. The quote is the rate that counts.

Pair Example What it is for
EUR / USD 1.08 Reading a euro cost on a dollar invoice
GBP / USD 1.27 Reading a sterling cost on a dollar invoice
USD / JPY 150 Reading a yen cost on a dollar invoice

Questions

Can I pay in another currency?

Only if the quote or the invoice allows it. Ask before you send a payment in a currency we did not name.

Do you lock a foreign-exchange rate?

If a conversion is part of the quote, the quote says how long that conversion stands. We do not offer a public FX contract.

Where is the amount I should pay?

On the invoice for your tracking number, not on a general web page.

Talk to World Cargo Hub operations

A firm rate, a booking, and a tracking number come from operations. This page explains the service. It is not a live tariff.
